The microphone port is proposed for the electrocardiogram (ECG) transmission interface in this research. The signal is modulated to assure that the ECG signal can be transmitted through microphone port without low-frequency component attenuation due to the mismatch of frequency characteristics between ECG signal and microphone port. In addition, we want to present whether the obtained ECG is reliable in heart rate variability (HRV) analysis. By Bland and Altman's statistical analysis, high agreement between the conventional and the proposed methods for HRV analysis is derived in this research.en_US
