dc.description.abstract我們利用一 10 GHz 等級的高重複率非同步鎖模光纖雷射短脈衝光源,配合高功率光纖放大器和脈衝壓縮器來產生高功率高重複率光源。此系統的第一級光源輸出平均功率為35 mW、脈衝寬度為 674 fs、重複率為 10 GHz 的脈衝序列。之後,我們使用一光纖放大器來提高光功率至 1.1 W, 此時之脈衝寬度變寬至 790 fs。我們再將此脈衝序列入射至一段長 10 m 的單模光纖來做色散補償,最後將脈衝寬度壓縮至 560 fs。這種高功率高重複率等級的短脈衝光源應能應用在諸如光纖通訊、量子光學等之許多研究領域。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractWe demonstrate a high-power high-repetition-rate ultrashort pulse laser source composed of a 10 GHz asynchronous modelocked (ASM) fiber laser, an Er-Yb high-power optical amplifier, and a pulse compressor. The ASM fiber laser generates 674 femtosecond pulses with 35 mW average power at 10 GHz repetition rate. After amplification, about 1.1W average power of 790 femtosecond pulses are generated. Finally, we launch the pulse train into a single mode fiber (SMF) with the length of 10 m to compress the pulse width down to 560 femtosecond. This kind of high-repetition-rate high-power mode locked laser sources should potentially find a lot of applications in fiber communication and quantum optics experiments.en_US
