摘要: 近年來電源管理IC市場漸受重視,除了在許多終端電子產品應用它無所不在之外。根據市調機構iSuppli調查顯示(圖二),2006∼2010年全球電源管理IC市場年複合成長率為6.75%,預估2008年產值可達276億美元,2010年達322億美元,將佔全球類比IC產值70%以上。 台灣由於終端產品製造商群聚,加上完整半導體產業聚落,提供台灣電源管理IC產業發展得天獨厚環境。此類產品製造者多,競爭激烈,產品利潤越來越低;然而台灣電源管理IC的未來發展,仍需面臨升級轉型的挑戰,提升技術能力,掌握關鍵技術,與系統廠商策略聯盟,有效掌握其產品需求與市場情報,未來的定位與發展重心,將成為廠商重要課題。 本研究由技術預測觀點探討電源管理IC的發展趨勢,首先經由文獻的回顧,推論出初步之概念性架構,輔以此領域專家之技術調查,設計出AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)問卷以調查瞭解電源管理IC發展趨勢,得出影響電源管理IC發展趨勢之評估準則權重。期望本研究能提供電源管理IC產業新的努力方向,並建立新的競爭優勢與核心競爭力。
Growth in the power management IC market is being fueled by a rapidly increasing number of applications coupled with the need to increase efficiency of already existing products. Consumers are demanding more applications be made mobile and that battery life be extended for these products. A recent study by iSuppli forecasts the worldwide market for power management IC will increase from $US 27.6 Billion in 2008 to about $US 32.2 Billion in 2010 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.75%. Power management semiconductor suppliers must respond to increasing customer needs and changing demands, continuing the quest to build greater value into higher- performing products. For power management semiconductor companies to increase market share, they must show value to both the low-cost commodity power supplies manufacturers, that counts gains by dollars saved, as well as the OEM system manufacturers that value full-featured performance.
