摘要: | 本研究之目的在探索出影響多人線上角色扮演遊戲的投入感因素。本研究根據文獻探討及焦點團體訪談一共收集了63個設計特徵,並假設其可能影響玩家遊玩多人線上角色扮演遊戲的投入感經驗。藉由假設我們可以瞭解到:第一、分析出在底層的63個設計特徵當中,哪些是相對重要的;第二、將63個設計特徵縮減萃取出上層影響遊戲投入感的設計因素;第三、從萃取的上層設計因素當中去分析哪些是影響投入感的關鍵設計因素。
本研究透過線上問卷的方式收集321位平均年齡約為23歲,條件是具有兩年以上的多人線上角色扮演遊戲資歷;同時,最近正在遊玩魔界2這款遊戲的公測版本。首先,透過類神經網路分析,可以直接針對63個設計特徵分析出當中影響投入感經驗較為重要的前15個特徵。其次,透過因素分析的方式,萃取出上層的12個設計因素。最後,我們將上層這12設計因素視為獨變項;而投入感經驗視為依變項,藉由線性迴歸分析,得到3個預測投入感較為關鍵的因素。以上結果,我們除了可以瞭解如何讓玩家持續地玩遊戲之外;另外,也能讓遊戲設計者在執行遊戲設計規劃時,瞭解到哪些遊戲設計的特徵或因素是必須優先考量的,以提升商業競爭力。 This research proposed exploring factors affecting engagement in Massively Multiple Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPG). According to the literature review and focus groups, we collect 63 design features and assume that these design features may affect players’ engagement experience in MMORPG. By hypothesis that we can know about: First, which are relative importance between 63 design features. Second, we extract design factors from 63 design features. Last, we analyse which are key factors between all of design factors. After that, we use the questionnaire method to measure this research. We collect 321 averaged 23 years old who has played MMORPG at least 2 years qualification to take part in this online survey. First, according to neural network analysis, we can know about 15 design features are more important between all. Second, by factor analysis, we extract 12 design factors. Last, these 12 design factors are independent variables and engagement experience is dependent variable. By linear regression analysis, we can understand 3 design factors are the most powerful to predict engagement. The result of this research, we can not only understand how to let player sustain in the game but also let game designer know about which design features or factors must be prior considerate before executing game design planning. |
