金融海嘯對台灣高科技產業工程師投資行為影響之研究

Abstract

2008年由於美國次級房貸問題所衍生出的全球性金融海嘯，對於許多投資人在投資上造成若干損失。本研究係以高科技產業工程師為研究對象，探討工程師的投資行為以及金融海嘯對其投資行為的影響。本研究採用問卷方式進行調查，根據回收結果顯示在個人投資行為部分，工程師具有較高的風險承受度；投資動機主要為退休規劃、其次為購買需求(如購屋、購車)和存款利率偏低；投資的商品以股票、海外基金及定存為主；資訊來源多為網路、報紙、雜誌；投資決策多為自行決策，較少依賴理專的建議。另外根據海嘯前後結果的比較可發現工程師在海嘯後的風險的承受度、持有商品時間、投資績效均呈現下降趨勢，對於停損停利的認知也較海嘯前為高，表示金融海嘯對於工程師的投資行為及風險的認知上均有一定程度的影響。

In 2008, the global Financial Tsunami has been derived from the crisis of U.S.’s subprime mortgage which has caused many investors certain loss of investment. This study has adopted engineers in high-tech industry as the research object to explore engineers’ investment behavior and the influence of such financial tsunami on their investment behavior. This study has also used the questionnaire method to conduct the survey; furthermore, according to the retuned questionnaire, the result showed that in the part of individual investment behavior, engineers possessed higher risk tolerance; the retirement planning is the main investment motive, next is the buying requirement (such as buying house or car) and low interest on deposit; investing products are stock, offshore fund and deposit; the sources of information are mainly from network, newspaper and magazine; the investment decision will be decided by themselves with less depending on the suggestion that suggested by financial advisors. Furthermore, by comparing the results before or after the occurrence of Financial Tsunami, these results have showed a declined tendency in engineers’ risk tolerance, product possession period and investment performance after the occurrence of Financial Tsunami, and they have higher recognition of stop-loss and stop-profit than the time before occurring the Financial Tsunami; in addition, these results indicated that the Financial Tsunami has certain influence on the investment behavior and risk recognition for engineers.
