摘要: | 對於異質網路系統進行換手執行full EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol)認證所導致的換手延遲問題,目前已有一些相關的研究提出解決方法。本論文針對WiFi-WiMAX Interworking系統之環境,提出一快速認證架構,對於目標網路預測成功與否都有相對應的處理機制,並且都不需再次執行full EAP認證程序。
此外,對於從WiFi網路換手到WiMAX網路亦能夠支援WiMAX網路系統所提供的換手最佳化機制(Handover Optimization),而由WiMAX換手至WiFi網路在預測目標網路失敗的情況下採用Localized Authentication機制。如此在WiFi-WiMAX Interworking系統環境下可提供即時性服務更良好的QoS支援。
另一方面,本篇論文進一步分析所提出的方法的安全性,確認所設計的方法除了能夠達成快速換手的目的亦同時確保安全性。最後,本論文透過Network Simulation 2進行模擬實驗與分析,在和其它方法進行模擬比較後,證明了本論文所設計的方法取得了最佳的平均換手時間。 Several solutions in the literature have been proposed to reduce the lengthy inter-system handover delay due to a full EAP authentication. In this thesis, a fast authentication mechanism (FAM) is proposed for the WiFi-WiMAX interworking system to support both target prediction hit and prediction miss handling. As a result, the full EAP authentication procedure is not required during handover execution. In addition, WiFi to WiMAX handover will also be able to support WiMAX handover optimization mechanism. If the prediction misses, a localized authentication executes during WiMAX to WiFi handover. So FAM provides a better real-time QoS support in WiFi-WiMAX interworking system. Furthermore, this thesis discusses the security aspect to evaluate the proposed mechanism can not only achieve fast handoff but also ensure security. Finally, this thesis using the Network Simulation2 to experiment and analysis, after comparison with other mechanism this thesis proves that the design mechanism to obtain the best average handoff latency time. |
