摘要: H.264/AVC是視訊壓縮的一種標準,他可以將資料方便轉換成更小的容量在儲存或傳送中。然而當視訊資料經由網路來傳輸時,會因為不同的傳輸錯誤,而在視訊品質上產生負面影響。在錯誤修復有著許多的方法,都勢必考量到編碼效能與錯誤恢復,並在其中取得一個最好的平衡點。而在此篇論文中,我們提出了一種架構於階層式B幀的容錯視訊述編碼結構。 在我們提出的模型上,我們利用了相鄰的視頻圖像時間上的相關性,將其視訊來源編碼作時間上的分割產生兩個層級的結構。當有圖像發生錯誤或遺失時,此種模型會利用另一個的結構的圖像來達到錯誤恢復。由於我們特別的結構設計,使得用未修補錯誤的圖像距離較近,結果顯示此設計,可以使得視訊在有效率的編碼效能下,達到較好的錯誤恢復。在理想無出錯的網路,或在網路隨機封包遺失的情況下,都可以顯示我們提出混合式方法的優勢。
H.264 / AVC is an standard for video compression, the process of converting digital video into a format that takes up less capacity when it is stored or transmitted. However, such compressed video suffers from the bad playback quality when packet loss occurs over unreliable networks. In this paper, a new structure model based on hierarchical B pictures in H.264/AVC is proposed to optimize the tradeoff between coding efficiency and error resilience. In the proposed model, by taking advantage of the temporal relationship among the adjacent video pictures, the model produces two level structures by applying temporal splitting on the different frames of video sequences. In case of frame loss, the decoder adaptively takes advantages of buddy frame’s correlation between frames for lost data estimation. As a consequence, better error resilience can be achieved at high coding efficiency. The advantages of the proposed model are demonstrated in error-free and packet loss networks.
