In response to the issues of global warming and carbon emissions, Taiwan has accumulated a vast pool of experience, knowledge and advantages from its highly developed 3C (Communication、Computer、Consumer) which it is bringing to the race to create green technologies. They can show their latest products and EV technologies for the battery industry of electric vehicles in Taiwan International Electric Vehicles show. This research is a competitive analysis of the battery Industry of electric vehicles across taiwan strait using the Porter's Diamond Model to explode “factor conditions”,”demand conditions”,”related and Supporting Industries”,”firm Strategy, structure and rivalry”.They had discussed with exhibitor about lithium battery safety, battery charge station and battery material. The main results of the survey are as below: 1. Taiwan has more competitive advantage in “related and Supporting Industries”. 2. Lithium battery safety is one of main issue for the battery industry of electric vehicles. 3. Electric car charging mode, the majority of people chose that charging spot and battery swap station can co-exist. 4. Government subsidies will create unfair competition. 5. The battery industry of electric vehicles is Introduction phase of product life cycle theory.
