處理機作業系統)也逐漸受到重視.然而多處理機作業系統的驗證與效益
分析是極其困難的事,為了解決此一問題,我們設計了一個多處理機作業
系統模擬器,藉由分散式平行處理技巧增進其執行效益.再配合多處理機
架構模擬器,多理機作業系統模擬器可以模擬到指令層次.同時,我們提
通一種負載平衡運算法,可以增進系統效益與減少通訊成本.
Multiprocessor Operating System (MPOS) is a particular complex
computer software. It is a formidable problem to verify the
correctness of MPOS and to precisely measure the performance of
MPOS. To solve these problems, we design a distributed parallel
MPOS simulation. It use the characteristic of parallel
processing, distributed the simulation tasks to the hosts of
computing network. It collects the computing power of the
network hosts to improve the simulation performance.
Coordinating the Multiprocessor Simulation (a trace driven
hardware simulation products of NSC project) can achieve the
instruction-level simulation. The Distributed Parallel
Multiprocessor Operation System Simulation includes the
components : job modeling, processor scheduling, thread
scheduling, memory access modeling, memory management unit.
Using the Time Warp mechanism to ensure the correctness of the
Distributed Parallel MPOS Simulation and Using the
Hierarchical Load Balance Algorithm to improve the performance
of the Distributed Parallel MPOS Simulation.
