IC智慧卡在運輸收費應用之探討

Abstract

IC智慧卡技術與應用在各先進國家皆有長足的進步，我國也欲藉由IC卡的 優異功能進入資訊化無現金交易的理想社會。本研究探討利用IC智慧卡作 為付費媒介，在交通運輸領域的技術及經濟可行性，包括用路付費、停車 付費以及乘車付費等應用。 IC smart card technologies and applications have been developing very quickly among the developed countries. There is a thrust in our country to take advantage of IC smart card capabilities to evolve our society into an information exchange oriented cash-less modern society. This research investigated the technical and economic feasibility of using IC smart card as the transactional medium for ticketing or fare collection in transportation area, including tolling, parking and public transit. To acomplish convenience for the users and efficiency for the service providers, a unified fare collection system using the banking IC smart card in Taiwan is found to be advantageous. At the end, this research recommended with some actions and strategies in order to facilitate the process of introducing IC smart card into our society.
