以坐椅為例探討中西設計風格之認知與辨識

Abstract

本研究主要分為兩大部分:風格認知實驗與人工智慧概念學習之D-MAX 模 式的應用.藉由研究的進行,系統性地探討人類對中西坐椅風格甈?,並由D- MAX決策樹模式的演練,推導出中西坐椅風格的分類規則.根據風格認知實 驗的結果,(1).證明了受試者對不同類別的中西坐椅,b認知上的確有不同 程度的風格"典範性"與認知"原型"的現象.(2).經由口語分析證明受試者 對風格判斷的認知行為模式基本上並無明顯地差異.但因專業知識的影響, 在認知反應的表現性有所差異.(3).利用因素分析與群聚分析,對中西坐椅 風格的意象特質進行分析與歸類,由結果中得知中西風格所營造與表現出 的風格意象差異,主要由於其中西坐椅造形特徵上之差異所造成.根據此基 礎在研究的第二部份,乃綜合了人類認知與D-MAX決策樹模式所歸納的分類 規則,加以比較與歸納,建構完整的風格造形特徵與形式之視控○灡w,系統 性地將構成產品造形風格之造形語言加以萃取出來,以作為未來輔助產品 設計的工具.在研究中並提出一風格意象操作模式,並就其在設計之應用性 加以討論. The purpose of this study is to explore the cognitive mechanism involved in style cognition and identification,and the applicability of D-MAX model in style identification andlassification.This research contains two parts:the first one is the exeperiments of style cognition,and the second one is thetudy of the applicability of D-MAX model,which is based on theea of concept learning in artificial intelligence.In thisearch,we use the varried styles of chair as examples, includingnese and Western style. The result of the cognitive exeperiments include:(1).identifying the "typicality effect" in style category membership,and therototype",which is the best exemplar of its category,ofair and of Western chair.(2).through protocolg that professional training in design has ae upon style appraisal and protocol expression,anddifference in style cognition exists between theers and non-designers.But both groups have thegnitive model during the procedure of styleFinally,we propose a hypothetical model forcharacteristic of human behavior in styledentification.(3).through factor analysis ands,finding the image position of Chinese andf chair, and concluding that the structural featurekey element for perceiving and recognizing stylecond part of this research,we apply D-MAX model tosification rules of style. By combining the rulesis model and the results of the above cognitivepropose a model for aiding the formation of styleome examples of chair design are adopted tolicability of this model.
