dc.description.abstract這篇論文中,我們描述了四位元主動式尋址STN LCD的驅動方法。 這個驅動的方法結合了基本主動定址的概念,脈衝高度調變和子群的觀念 ,嘗試使得高對比,高亮度和價格低廉視訊級的STN LCD 的製造變 為可能。然後介紹了一個以主動式定址來驅動四位元灰階480X320STN LCD的架構。最後,基於上述的架構,進行電路設計。實際上,我們已 經把我們的電路用台灣積電路公司 0.8 μm SPDM CMOS的技術來 做成一顆IC. We describe the 4-bit modified active addressing method, which combines the ideas of the active addressing, pulse-height modulation and subgroup to make possible high contrast, high brightness, and low-cost video-rate STN LCDs. Then, a hardware architecture for the 480X320 STN LCD is available to implement the 4-bit modified active addressing display system. Finally, the circuit design based on the architecture is also introduced. We have implemented the controller into an IC by using the TSMC 0.8 μm SPDM CMOS technology.zh_TW
