dc.description.abstract在本论文中我们研究光纤光栅的理论、制作、及应用。在实验上我们成功
的利用相位光罩制作出具有高反射率的光纤光栅,并利用此光纤光栅制作
出了DBR光纤雷射。此种雷射具有稳定、频宽窄和体积轻巧的特性,可作
为光纤通讯系统或光纤感测器的理想光源。我们也探讨了移相光纤光栅共
振器的原理和制作方法,成功地制作出四分之一波长移相光纤光栅共振器
,并且量测了这种共振器结构的共振特性;此种共振器结构将可供为制作
窄频滤波器或是DFB光纤雷射之用。
In this thesis we study the theory, fabrication, and
applicationsof fiber gratings. We have successfully fabricated
high-reflectivityfiber gratings using the phase mask approach
and used them to buildEr DBR fiber lasers. Such lasers are very
compact, stable, and have a very narrow linewidth. They are
suitable light sources for fibercommunication systems and fiber
sensors. We have also successfully fabricated phase-shifted
fiber grating resonators and measured theirresonant
characteristics. Such a kind of resonators can be used
fornarrow-band filtering or to build DBR fiber lasers.
