摘要: 本論文設計B型抗諧振反射光波導表面電漿子共振化學感測元件﹐以應用 於環境感測。由於B型抗諧振反射光波導擁有較大的導光區﹐所以能夠有 效和單模光纖相匹配。在這篇論文中﹐我們提出嚴格的模擬架構去解決光 能量在元件傳送的過程。而且這個模擬架構可以決定兩邊感測出口的正規 化光能量差異。而這個差異與波導結構﹐金屬層、緩衝層性質有十分密切 的關係。我們的感測元件可用以偵測水中低濃度的有機污染﹐並且最後我 們得到一個高達10e-5的感測率。 A design of ARROW-B SPR chemical sensor for use in the field of environmentalmonitoring is presented. The use of an ARROW-B structure permits incorporationof a thick guiding region for efficient coupling to a single-mode fiber. In thisthesis, we present a rigorous model for the optical power transmittance of thistype of sensor. This model is used to determine the difference in normalizedoutput power between two sensing arms of the sensor, as a function of waveguide,metal film, buffer layer parameters. Our sensor is designed to operate in waterto detect low concentration pollution of water, and a high sensitivity for detectingchanges on the order of 10e-5 in the refractive index of analyte is achieved.
