dc.description.abstract本文配合網際網路新技術,用多層次程式嵌入(Multi-Tier Embedded Program)介面的新架構設計網際地理資訊系統,以改善傳統系統中只有前 端互動式的缺點。其做法為將嵌入程式拆為兩部份,一部份放在前端瀏覽 器,一部份放在應用程式伺服器(Application Server),達成多層次分散 式物件之架構,進而達到前、後端互動式之網際地理資訊系統。在此架構 下使用者可於目前瀏覽器的限制及網路頻寬不足下,不需事先安裝程式及 額外的環境設定,即能順利達成遠程資料維護、後端分散式處理及底圖資 料快取等功能。本文所提之架構及技術,已建構於公路災害查報系統及新 竹市政府網頁地理資訊系統上。 This paper proposes a new architecture of a Web-GIS. Thisarchitecture improves traditional client-interactive-only Web-GIS design by a new technology-Multi-Tier Embedded Program Interface. This interface contains two parts: one is a browser, and the other is a distributed Application Server. From the basic of these techniques a client-server-interactive Web-GIS is developed. The system allows user to update data from different places, process data in distributed servers and cache the map data conveniently without installing programs and extra configuringin advance. This Web GIS framework has been applied in designing Taiwan Road Disaster Retrieval System and in developing the homepageof Hsin-Chu municipal government.zh_TW
