dc.description.abstract | 近年來Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP)網路管理系統在業界被廣泛地使用。除了一般有線網路系統外,也有諸多論文研究將SNMP應用在無線通訊系統的網路管理,如Global System for Mobile Communications(GSM)、Code Division Multiplexing Access (CDMA)等無線通訊系統,顯示未來在無線通訊領域上SNMP網路管理系統亦將佔有一席之地。 本文的研究目的是應用SNMP發展一套衛星通訊網路管理系統(SNMP Satellite Communication Network Managemnt System, SSCNMS)架構,將SNMP應用於衛星通訊網路的配置管理(Configuration Management)及效能管理(Performance Management)上。 本文的貢獻是,我們以SNMP進行衛星頻道的配置管理,實現Demand Assignment Multiple Access(DAMA)資源存取方式,以有效運用衛星的轉頻器資源。另外在網路的效能管理上,我們也因應衛星通訊網路的特性,研究提升Polling效率及節省使用頻寬的方法,並提出適合的網路管理架構。經效能評估,我們提出的架構將比SNMP的中央集權網路管理方式更適用於衛星通訊環境。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | In the recently years, the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) has been used popularly in some kinds of regions. Except the wired network systems, there are also many journals illustrating the application of the SNMP in wireless communication networks, like the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) system and the Code Division Multiplexing Access (CDMA) system. It is perceived that the SNMP network management system will take up its position in this region. The purpose of our research is applying the SNMP to develop the architecture of the SNMP Satellite Communication Network Management System (SSCNMS) for network configuration and performance management. The contribution of our research is that we using the SNMP in the satellite channels configuration management to carry out the Demand Assignment Multiple Access (DAMA) scheme for efficienctly utilizing the satellite transponder resource. In addition, we investigate the methods of impoving polling efficiency and decreasing the traffic in network performance management, and bring out the suitable network management architecture. The system performance evaluation shows that our network management architecture is suitable for the satellite communication network than the fully centralized architecture of the SNMP. | en_US |
