Due to higher premium put on market changing and customer's demand, many companies use build-to-order to replace make-to-order. In the BTO, project manager's responsibilities are planning and controlling of production. There are usually several project planning and controlling ways in a company. Some project managers still plan and control their projects by man-made. And some project managers use computer to help himself. But, lack of linking, it can’t provide a lot of profit for for the company. The research wants to build a standard process of planning and controlling in BTO. Through this process, it lets managers get correct and immediate information. And they can make right decisions. The research first focus on features of BTO, and builds a standard process of planning and controlling. There are four stage in this process: (1)Project Breaking Structure, (2) Resource Planning, (3) Information Releasing, (4) Feedback and controlling. Taking A company as a sample. Through this process and packages, it can help managers in A company to plan and control their projects. What we can get from this research : (1) Building a standard process of planning and controlling, (2) Taking A company as a sample.
