dc.description.abstract自從電腦的出現後,以極快的速度影響著全球的建築。藉由電腦強大的運算能力,設計與想像的距離開始被拉近,建築的形式不再只侷限於垂直水平的線條,建築師的思想開始解放。 但回觀台灣建築卻遇到一個很現實的問題,我們的建築設計一直受限於建築工業的技術,而一直被侷限在垂直水平的線條內,無法突破。此自由形體的實驗就是希望透過一個接待大廳的小型室內建築設計案,結合其他領域的各種工業技術—如汽車製造、手機製造、真空成形………等。真實的測試一個充滿想像的建築建造過程中所會遭遇的困難,並加以解決,最後建造出來,最後並將此案的經驗回饋到建築工業,使得建築空間能被真正的解放。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractComputer has had a considerable influence on the worldwide architecture since it was invented. The form of architecture has not been limited to be constructed vertically and horizontally because of the use of computer with powerful and precise computing capability. As a result, the distance between design and imagination will be reduced and the thoughts of architects will also be liberated from the convention. The architecture in Taiwan, however, is facing a realistic problem. Limited to the technique of architectural construction, the design of architecture has still been constrained to be vertical or horizontal. Given this situation, we conducted experiments of the free from project, combining as many as possible kinds of industrial technology – such as motor manufacture, cell-phone production – to build this interior reception hall. Our objectives in this project are not only to investigate the difficulty as well as the solution of constructing such a free from building in Taiwan but also to give a feedback to our architectural environment whether educationally or practically.en_US
