摘要: 本論文設計之系統為一搭配人工視網膜晶片的高解析度影像投射系統,使用CMOS Image Sensor擷取外界影像資訊透過OLED微型顯示器顯示外界影像,再經過2片自由曲面之光學鏡片將顯示器之內容放大後投射至人眼,刺激殘存的視網膜神經細胞,使患者重建部份的視力。 本系統設計包含CMOS Image Sensor攝像鏡頭及OLED微顯示器的規格選用, DC/DC電源電路設計,MCU微控制器驅動程式開發. 其中CMOS Image Sensor影像輸出及OLED微型顯示器輸入訊號選用了複合端子(Composite)界面,如此CMOS Image Sensor攝像鏡頭擷取到的外界影像訊號可直接輸出至OLED微型顯示器(640x480 pixels),影像訊號不需再經過FPGA IC進行影像處理,故電路設計上可節省FPGA IC的使用,且本系統採用的OLED微型顯示器的解析度為傳統型的5倍, 並達到電路體積小型化的目的。 CMOS image sensor 鏡頭規格為1/4”,像素大小為5.6um x 5.6um,OLED顯示器規格為最大顯示解析度為852 x 600像素,像素大小為15um,最大亮度為3000Cd/m2,亮度較傳統型系統提高30倍。
This paper presents a retina prosthesis chip with the high resolution image projection system design. The system used CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) Image Sensor to capture outside images information, through the OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) device display image and then two free-form surfaces of optical lenses, it can display the contents of the amplified projected in retina chip of human eye. The development of High Resolution Image Projection System include CMOS image sensor, OLED microdisplay, DC to DC converter, and MCU(Microcontroller Unit) programming. The system select composite video interface of CMOS image sensor for eMagin OLED microdisplay (640x480 pixels). Thus, The outside image was captured by CMOS image sensor device can input to the eMagin OLED microdisplay device directly. Since the image don’t require the image process IC(FPGA), The circuit can design easily. The resolution of an OLED microdisplay was raised 5 times than traditional OLED microdisplay. The size of CMOS image sensor is 1/4" and the pixel size is 5.6um x 5.6um. The resolution of the OLED microdisplay is 852x600 pixels and the pixel size is 15um. The maximum brightness is 3000Cd/m2. The brightness was raise 30 times than the traditional system.
