dc.description.abstract此研究之目的是在於評估現在市場上可用之智慧財產權(IP)企業模式、系統晶片(SoC)市場的標準化效果、設計資料庫之功能及特色、還有從設計資料庫中對IP專利分析的需求。同時,也為了此研究設計一份問卷,經由新竹科學園區設計中心的經理和資深工程師,以及在瑞典Kista科技中心的相關人員來協助完成。由問卷調查證明的假說顯示SoC設計資料庫會增加IP授權。授權是現在最有效的SoC企業模式,而逐漸增加的標準規格會增加IP交易以及其授權之機會。另一方面,被拒絕的假說顯示市場上對專利分析低度信任,此外也顯示經營設計資料庫的新方法很難改變市場上的信任度。 此研究的結論有二,一為市場上有逐漸對IP授權抱持正面態度的趨勢,二為設計資料庫將成為在此領域新興的管道。標準規格會對市場的結構有很大的影響,尤其在設計資料庫的發展上。設計資料庫在系統晶片市場上會日益重要,當此現象發生時,IP的交易和授權都會增加。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThe research purpose is to evaluate the attitude of IP business models available on the market, standardisations effect on the SoC market, design libraries abilities and features, and the need for patent analyses in IP from design libraries. A survey was conducted among managers and senior engineers of design houses in Hsinchu Science Park and the correspondent in Kista Technology Center in Sweden. The tested hypotheses indicated that SoC design libraries will increase the usage of IP licensing, that licensing is the best available SoC business model at present, and increased uniform standards will increase opportunities to trade IP and using IP licensing. The rejection of hypothesis about patent analysis indicates low trust in the market and that even new ways of doing business as using design libraries will not remarkably affect trust in the market. The conclusions of the research are that there are increasing positive attitude for IP licensing and the new emerging channel for this business is design libraries. The uniformity of standards will have a great affect of the market structure, especially for the development of design libraries. Design libraries will become essential in the SoC market, and as this phenomenon takes hold, the trade and licensing of IP will increase.en_US
