摘要: Ad Hoc无线网路,是一种由少数无线装置针对特定目的而组成的暂时性网路,具有高度动态性与不须设置硬体设备的优点,然而,也因此产生出安全性问题,而最基本的就是要如何确保所有要使用此Ad Hoc的成员都是合法的使用者,也就是必须设计出一个安全的认证协定。另外,无线装置电力有限,认证过程的计算复杂度以及讯息传送量都将影响整个Ad Hoc无线网路的运作状况。
本篇研究的主旨便是探讨Ad Hoc无线网路的认证架构,基于Vijay Varadharajan等人所提出的认证方式,提出一个认证协定,并在最后做了安全性以及效率性的分析与比较,在安全性方面,证明本论文所提的协定符合认证的安全性条件之外,也加强了通讯密钥的安全性以及认证过程的稳定度;而在效率分析方面,有效减少了传输讯息数量以及计算复杂度;除此之外,本论文也解决了成员不断加入离开某丛集时所产生的乒乓问题。
Ad Hoc Networks, an infrastructure-less wireless network, is a temporary network which is composed of wireless devices for particular purpose. It provides high mobility and has advantage of operating without hardware deployment. However, these characteristic causes some security problems. The essential problem is how we can make sure that all users in the Ad hoc network are legal users. Therefore, design an authentication protocol is the basic issue. Moreover, the limitation of the power of wireless devices is also another problem. The computation complexity and number of messages delivered will affect the operation of Ad Hoc network.
In this research, we propose a novel authentication protocol for Ad Hoc networks and also discuss ping-pong problem. We improve the method proposed by Vijay Varadharajan et.al, and make security and efficiency analysis. On the aspect of security analysis, the proposed protocol conforms to the security issues. In addition, it enhances the security of session keys and reliability of authentication procedure. On the efficiency aspect, the proposed protocol reduces the number of messages to deliver and computation complexity.
