產品生命週期管理系統應用在半導體產業研發管理

Abstract

全球經濟不景氣以及微利時代已經到來，企業正面臨嚴苛殘酷的生存挑戰；降低成本並爭取最大效能是所有企業的競爭守則。因此，整合（Collaboration）一詞無疑是大家的焦點，因此欲降低成本，應自設計階段的改進著手，且越早期的改進，對降低成本的效果愈大。 本研究將Product Lifecycle Management的一些理論觀點應用在半導體IC設計產業上，去分析在半導體IC設計企業當中的設計研發部門日常活動的控管。進而去設計架構一個以PLM為基礎系統。 研究結果此系統可提供內部設計研發部門更好的產品及知識管理平台機制、加強市場規劃的能力更加符合客戶的需求、並且提供一個有關半導體矽智財的知識交換平台，增進矽智財的再利用，讓專案經理及研發工程師能更有效率的從事新產品開發工作。

Recently, The Competition of global market is getting intense. The Information technology industry which was once high-profit is gradually becoming micro-profit. Lowering the capital and gaining the max efficiency has become the key factor to survive. Many reports indicated that 65 to 90 percent of the product’s capital is decided during the designing phase. Therefore, in order to bring down the capital, one should start from improving the designing phase. Moreover, the earlier the improvement is started, the better the result of lowering the capital would be. This paper refers to concept of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in semiconductor industry, to analysis and to understand the Research and Development activities inside the enterprise. Then to design and implement a PLM-based systems. The result is to serve internal Research and Development user, and providing better product and knowledge management for integrating design and production, enhancing market planning capabilities for producing products suiting customers’ needs, providing management platform for the control, leverage, and protection of the IP of the enterprise and providing RDM information system for project leaders and executives.
