摘要: 目前國內正順應世界潮流積極推動智慧型運輸系統(ITS)的規劃與建設,其目標在利用先進的通訊系統並整合其他科技以提昇交通的安全與便利,同時降低交通的擁塞與污染。然而智慧型運輸系統的涵蓋範圍廣泛,根據不同的應用課題與其通訊需求,其所適用的通訊網路及其通訊標準亦將不同。尤其在發展智慧型運輸系統的實務上更需面對不同系統或是設備間的通訊問題。為了解決上述課題,美國針對智慧型運輸系統各類應用的電子裝置間資料傳輸,提出了NTCIP(National Transportation Communications for ITS Protocol),其目標即是確保ITS系統組成單元彼此之間的「相互操作性」(Interoperability)與「相互置換性」(Interchangeability)。為使將來國內政府單位或廠商,在規劃、投資及參與ITS相關建設時面對相關通訊課題能有所參考依循,因此希望藉由整合我國在ITS相關通訊研究成果並參照美國發展NTCIP的累積經驗,建立我國NTCIP整合式通訊平台並推廣其應用,為我國智慧型運輸系統之發展奠定良好之基石。
Following the world trend of adopting the NTCIP, Taiwan is trying her best to catch up. We hope the integration of advanced ommunication technologies and promotion of transportation afety could be achieved via theefforts of this research project.The major tasks of this research projects include:(1) Review of most recent NTCIP development and collect related documents.(2) Establish a web site for NTCIP related Chinese reading and promotion materials. (3) Review of ATMS implementation worldwide.(4) Review of U.S. Its Critical Standards related materals.(5) Design Taiwan oriented ATMS, ATIS, and APTS data dictionary and message set.(6) Based on the (5) working ite, design a NTCIP based integrated communicaton network.
