摘要: 本計畫探討壓電與壓磁複合材料之電磁耦合行為及如何提升其電磁耦合效應。我們擬先建立一完整 的理論模型,包括釐清極化方向、材料異向性與等效材料係數的關係;瞭解三相結構(母材、殼層、 內含物)在不同組成及體積比組合下對電磁耦合行為的影響等;爾後根據此理論基礎提升其電磁耦 合效應。此計畫是延續我們最近在壓電壓磁複合材料的一些重要成果。由於材料的異向性及多相性, 其物理行為將更為多元,而數學的複雜度也相對提高,然研究結果將對尋找及設計新的電磁智能材 料提供紮實的理論基礎。 表
This proposal concerns enhancement of magnetoelectricity in piezoelectric-piezomagnetic composites. Specifically, we aim to establish the mathematical framework of effective properties of piezoelectric-piezomagnetic fibrous/particulate composites, to explore how the polarization (material anisotropy) influences the magnetoelectricity, and to derive the magnetoelectric voltage coefficients for composites made of matrix-coating-inclusion three phases. For technological interests, we choose CoFe2O4 (CFO), Terfenol-D, BaTiO3 and PZT as our constituents. Due to the complexity of the material anisotropy and multi-phase of the composites, the problem becomes more difficult and interesting. Once we can model this phenomenon, we can handle the ME composite more accurately, and provide a new strategy to enhance the magnetoelectric properties of the heterogeneous media.
