台湾客家电视台的个案分析

2003年7月1日,全球唯一的客家电视台在台湾正式开播。客家电视台是台湾第一个因应特定族群而成立的无线电视频道,亦是客家族群自1988年的“还我母语”运动之后,可以真正拥有的,属于客家族群的电视媒体。由于客家电视台乃是由行政院客委会编列预算而运作的族群媒体,其运作与发展往往承担推行国家政策的公共媒体角色,并且肩负传承客家语言文化的责任与使命。本研究从组织文化与组织认同的理论视野出发,以问卷调查与深度访谈之质量研究方法,分析客家电视台员工对于其组织文化的认知与诠释,以及对于组织认同的程度与样貌,并探讨客家电视台之组织文化与组织认同的关联性。本计画之研究结果预计可以提供客家电视台本身以及政府与相关政策制订者对于经营与扶持族群媒体(客家电视台)之具体建议。

Abstract
The Hakka in Taiwan has been “invisible” in the public sphere for many years until the Hakka Language Movement in 1988. Since television is often perceived as a unifying force, creating an ethnic imagined community, Hakka Television as an ethnic medium, is playing a pivotal role in constructing and maintaining identifications of the Taiwanese Hakka. In light of theories of organizational culture and organizational identity, the current study employs methods of social survey and in-depth interview to examine employees’ perceptions of the organizational culture and organizational identity of Hakka Television.
