dc.description.abstract無線多輸出入傳輸近年來發展迅速,其中最簡單的點對點、單用戶傳輸已經實用 化。最近有人提出分散式多輸出入傳輸,也就是多點對多點的傳輸,理論上可大幅提升 整體傳輸速率,且有人在國際標準會議中提議採用這種傳輸方式。本研究計畫擬為期三 年,研究分散式無線多輸出入多媒體通訊技術,包括相關之上下行訊號傳收、行動計算、 及視訊傳收與呈現技術,其中下行傳輸將考慮正交分頻多工與多重進接方式,上行傳輸 則將考慮正交分頻多重進接及單載波分頻多重進接兩種方式。我們並將從事實驗性的軟 硬體實作以展示所研發的技術。以上無線傳輸將採用分時雙工,並可使用中繼站協助基 地台與用戶台之間的傳輸。預期第一年計畫將著重分項傳輸技術之研究,第二年除繼續 分項技術研究外,並開始各分項技術之實作,第三年則著重實作與整合。本計畫預期可 有人才培育、工程學術與應用技術方面的創新、與實驗系統之建立等效益,並可做國內 參與國際標準活動之團體之技術後盾。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractWireless multi-input multi-output (MIMO) transmission is fast developing in recent years. Of it the simplest point-to-point, single-user transmission has entered into practical use. Recently some have proposed distributed MIMO transmission, that is, multipoint-to-multipoint transmission. In theory it can significantly increase the overall transmission rate. Moreover, some have proposed in an international standards meeting to use this form of transmission. This research project is intended for three years, wherein we research into distributed wireless MIMO multimedia communication technology. The subjects considered include relevant techniques for downlink and uplink signal transmission, mobile computing, and video transmission and presentation. In downlink transmission, we will consider orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing/multiple access (OFDM/OFDMA), and in uplink transmission, both OFDMA and single-carrier frequency-division multiple access (SC-FDMA). We will also conduct experimental software/hardware implementation to demonstrate the developed techniques. The above wireless transmission will employ time-division duplex (TDD) and will consider use of relay stations to assist in the transmission between base stations and mobile stations. In the first project year, we expect to emphasize the research of individual transmission techniques. In the second year, besides continuing the research of individual techniques, we expect to begin their implementation. And in the third year, we expect to emphasize implementation and integration. The expected benefits of the project include education and development of talents, innovations in theoretical and practical aspects of engineering technology, and building up of an experimental system. We also expect that the work can be a technical support to the domestic entities that are involved in international standards activities.en_US
