摘要: 本文提出一個新式的無石英震盪器的頻率偏移調變收發機架構,其無石英震盪器之特點代表通訊系統可實現於單晶片內而無需外部元件,實現系統的高度整合性。在使用外部運算放大器時發射機,量測得發射機其傳輸速度在位元誤碼率小於10-3的前提下可達 5 Mbps,輸出功率約為 -2 dBm,直流功率消耗為10 mW,相位雜訊在1 MHz的位移頻率時 -114 dBc/Hz及頻率穩定度為360 ppm。另外在接收機部分,則因為限幅放大器發生震盪之緣故而無法進行量測,僅能量得低雜訊放大器的輸入S11在頻率為1.4 GHz時等於 -12 dB。晶片實現於TSMC 0.18 µm製程,晶片面積為1680 μm ⨯ 1860 μm。本文最後將前述之收發機應用於一個以醫療為應用情境之通訊系統,此系統包含了一個微處理器、一組序列輸出入介面、記憶體以及射頻收發機,並且在自由空間中完成921.6 kbps的系統傳輸驗證。
A novel structure of a crystal-less FSK transceiver is proposed in this thesis. Thanks for the crystal-less feature, a highly integrated communication system is realized without external components. Due to some problems in tape out procedure, we replace internal operational amplifier by external commercial ICs. From the measurement results, the transmitter consumes 10 mW DC power under a 1.8 V supply voltage. The data rate, output power, phase noise and frequency stability is 5 Mbps, -2 dBm, -114 dBc/Hz @ 1 MHz offset frequency and 360 ppm, respectively. In the receiver side, because of the oscillation problem in limiting amplifier, S11 is the only parameter can be measured, and it’s -12 dB at 1.4 GHz. This work is fabricated by using TSMC 0.18 µm CMOS process. In the end, we present a low power intelligence communication system. It includes a microcontroller unit, serial I/O interface, memory and a RF transceiver.
