dc.description.abstract我無意(也無能力)在此繼續追究數學的威力究竟從何而來,反而是要倒過來探究數學在物理上的威力是否有其限制?原因是我前些時在馬寧(Yuri I. Manin)的文集《作為隱喻的數學》(Mathematics as Methaphor )中讀到〈數學與物理的交互關係〉(Interrelation between Mathematics and Physics)一文,看到他對於兩者關係的一些有趣觀察,另外又在《美國數學學會會訊》2014 年2 月號轉載〈德利涅訪談記〉(Interview with Pierre Deligne)一文中讀到德利涅對於物理神祕威力的感嘆,引發了我省思數學對於當代理論物理發展的幫助究竟有多大。zh_TW
