dc.description.abstractA brief description of the general principles and methods of finding the aperture susceptance of circular apertures in the transverse plane of wave guide is presented. The standing wave method and equivalent magnetic wall method apply only to smaller apertures. For large apertures the variational method is used to extend it to the case of circular wave guide. The results obtained from these methods are found to be compatible.en_US
