摘要: 汽车产业至今仍未经历剧烈的变动。然而,随着像无人驾驶、电动汽车、智慧驾驶等科技的进步,汽车产业正在经历有新挑战、新竞争者进入市场的阶段。例如电池制造公司或科技公司是非常具有潜力的市场新进入者。
因此本研究针对科技公司以及原有的汽车制造商的竞争行为进行资料收集以及针对现有产业竞争者和新进入者,本研究试着找出两者竞争行为之关联性。本篇论文采用内容分析法来了解五间公司在五年内的四千个决策之关联。结果显示,科技公司在进入汽车市场上并无具体实质的策略或明显动作,但汽车制造商藉由发布信息活动来传递其公司有针对产业趋势制定相关规划以及执行专案。
Car industry has been stabilized for more than a century. However, with the new development of technology like autonomous driving, electric vehicles or smart cars, the automobile industry is experiencing the challenges and competitions from new market entrants. Accordingly, battery companies or IT companies have the potential to be the new market competitors. Therefore, this study aims at understanding the pattern of competitive actions that IT companies and automobile companies brought out and searching for the possible linkage of the competitive actions between new market entries and current players. This paper employs content analysis of five firms that carried out over 4,000 competitive actions in a five-year period. As a result, there is unfortunately less evidence showing the linkage between new potential market players and existing firms. However, we do find out automakers implement projects related to the trend of the automobile industry through overt signaling actions.
