空間策略的前系統

Abstract

這本作品集收錄了我在研究所兩年中的設計作品。在整理這些作品的過程中，我發現這幾個案子之間有某種關聯性可以被連結起來，而這個關聯性同時也是一個方法，讓我開始思考，或許設計過程中可以加入這個部份而有了不同的設計發展可能。

“空間策略的前系統”是我發現這之間的關聯。在針對各個設計案的空間策略之前，是可以有一個更宏觀的空間系統，來幫助建築師在建築設計的統一性與個別性之中找到平衡。早期，科比意用”新建築五點”，一個統一的空間系統去操作所有的設計，這是當時的統一性系統。之後有些批評家開始發現，建築應該因地制宜，因此每個案子都應該重新發展出自己的空間系統來對應環境和使用者。這樣的想法是值得肯定的，然而今天，許多從環境發展出來的空間系統已經成熟並發展到一個境界，使得接下來許多建築師與學生，在操作設計時，開始容易使用類似的空間系統而較少變化。因此我開始思考，或許一個”空間策略的前系統”的建立，可以幫助建築師累積自己的空間系統模式；同時，面對不同的案子時，可用此系統作為發展的方向。因此，每個案子都會具有自己因地制宜的獨特性，但同時彼此之間又能貫徹建築師的想法。且因為是在同一個大系統下思考個別空間系統，彼此在空間手法上的經驗便可累積，而更有機會形成建築師的獨特手法，對空間的可能性提出新的看法。

目前我發展出來的系統稱為”圍塑的分支”。一個基本的幾何形會是”圍塑”的動作，而接下來，隨著不同的空間策略，會從基本形延伸出不同的空間。以下我用三個案子：”In-Campus”, “C-channel House”和”Road of Urban Economics”來回應我所提出來的想法。

This is the portfolio of the projects in institute. By organizing all these projects, I discovered that there are some relationships that could be an idea for us to think how to develop a project with a different technique.

A system before space strategy is what I discovered. In early days, Le Cobusier uses a united space system called “Les 5 ponints D'une Architecture Nouvelle” to operate architecture design; about 10 years later, some opponents say that we should not have united space system for all projects, the form of space will appear it own. But nowadays, we found out that architects use similar space strategy and form to practice their projects. So, I start to think that maybe we can have a space system before space strategy. This step can let architects develop and “accumulate” their own space techniques to inspire something different from current situation.

The system I developed now is named as “Branches of Enclosure” The Enclosure step is an original type, each project has its own space strategy to perform the “Branches”. There are three projects for this system: “In-Campus”, “Road of Urban Economics” and “C-channel House”. I use these three projects to correspond to the idea I asked.
