dc.description.abstractNCTUns是一款高知名度且功能強大的網路模擬器。它所使用的特有模擬方法為它帶來了高可信度的結果,但也限制其無法在SMP架構的系統下執行。為此我們提出了新的設計,修改NCTUns能在SMP架構系統下執行並支援並行模擬。 在本篇論文中,我們將首先介紹NCTUns的設計架構,接著詳述我們提出的設計與實作修改,然後比較原始版本與支援並行模擬版本NCTUns的效能,最後討論與以虛擬機器方式實現的並行模擬之間的優缺。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractNCTUns is a well-known and powerful network simulator. The unique simulation methodology applied on NCTUns brings high confidence results but also limits it cannot be executed on SMP systems. Therefore, we propose a new design of NCTUns supporting concurrent simulation on SMP systems. In this paper, we first introduce the basic design of NCTUns. Then we describe our design and implementation. Next we compare the performance to the original NCTUns. Finally, we discuss the possibility and advantage of supporting concurrent simulation by virtual machine.en_US
