建立於InterViews/doc上之中文TEX前視系統

Abstract

TEX為一高品質的學術性文章排印系統，CTEX則是具有處理中文及圖形能 力的TEX系統，本論文研究在X Window環境下，以修改InterViews/doc的 方式，建立CTEX前視系統之可行性。我們成功地建立此系統的雛型，包 括6項主要特性：使用類似TEX之高品質排版演算法、支援分節概念、多種 字體/大小選擇、 in-line TEX code、表格編輯功能、以及list環境。這 些功能均可籍內建的轉換功能存成CTEX檔。配合以前建立的工作站上CTEX 整合使用環境，我們理想中方便而又功能強大的CTEX工作環境已略具規模 。 TEX is a high-quality typesetting system. CTEX is a TEX-based system for handling both Chinese and English characters. In this thesis, we explore the possibility of building a Chinese TEX front-end system, by modifying InterViews/doc under X Window environment. We successfuly built a prototype of the front-end system. It has six features: using some high-quality TEX typesetting algorithms and supporting section structures, multiple fonts and font sizes, in-line TEX code, table editing, list environment. By simply selecting the built-in converting function, the article can be converted and saved in CTEX file format. Together with the Integrated Environment for Using CTEX on Workstation, our ideal, convenient, and powerful CTEX environment has come to a rudimentary stage.
