dc.description.abstract | 隨著電腦硬體及網路的成本愈來愈低, 加上記憶體大量增加, 使得即時視 訊系統服務快速地成為下一代家庭娛樂設備. 為了能提供使用者簡易的方 法以便取得這類服務, 一個有效率且方便地使用者介面是必要地.在本篇 論文中, 我們設計了一套卡拉OK即時視訊系統, 用以提供使用者卡拉OK點 撥服務. 這個系統是架構在主僕分散式環境中. 在客戶端上,我們設計了 一個容易操作地圖形使用者介面. 這個介面是以微軟公司的視窗環境為基 礎, 以便提供使用者去取得其所要求點撥的歌曲. 另外,我們在伺服器上 建構了一個資料庫系統. 這資料庫是架構在UNIX系統之上, 用以處理歌曲 基本資料及提供歌手和流行歌曲排行榜等訊息讓使用者有更多選擇歌曲的 依據. Coupled with the lower cost in computer hardware, network, and large storage device capacities, the services which support continuous media will be fast becoming the next-generation home entertainment. In order to offer users an easy way to access these servers, it is important to support an efficient, convenient user interface. In this thesis, we design the Ka-La OK on Demand (KOD) system which provides users the Ka-La OK entertainment. The KOD system is based on client/server environment. In the client end, we implement an easy-to-use graphical user interface based on Microsoft Windows and provide the users an access method to get the required songs. In the server end, we establish a database on UNIX-based system to maintain the metadata. The metadata consists of titles of songs, pictures of singers, personal information, hit parade, etc. Users can use these information to select his required song. | zh_TW |
