地区资讯产业国际市场进入模式选择之主要因素,以及不同进入模式之间
对于这些影响因素的考量程度是否有显着差异,以提供资讯厂商采取国际
化时之参考。本研究以文献探讨方式建立概念性架构,研究变数包括策略
性变数、环境变数、交易特定性变数,以及企业特定性变数四类。并以问
卷调查的方式,针对两百一十七家资讯业厂商进行调查。所采取的资料分
析方法为因素分析、变异数分析以及区别分析。研究结论如下:1.本研究
经由因素分析将原研究变数归纳为十三项因素,分别是“全球性综效”、
“国际策略动机”、“国际营运需求”、“国家风险”、“区域熟悉性与
开放程度”、“市场需求状况”、“市场发展潜力及竞争程度”、“企业
专属know-how之价值”、“企业专属know-how之模糊性”、“交易双方之
代理行为”、“企业规模”、“国际化经验”、以及“企业资产及风险偏
好程度”。2.经多变量变异数分析及一因子变异数分析后,得知不同进入
模式间对于总体因素的考量确实有显着差异;而个别因素方面,发现除了
全球策略动机、市场需求状况、企业专属know-how价值、以及交易双方代
理行为四项因素外,其他九项因素的考量程度,在不同进入模式间均具有
显着差异。3.进一步以区别分析法得知,以“区域熟悉性与开放程度”最
具有显着之区别能力,其次是“企业专属know-how之模糊性”;而“交易
双方之代理行为”及“国际化经验”两项因素之区别能力较不显着。

is to find out the critical factors affectingdecisions of
foreign entry modes in the information industry, and
whetherthere are significant differences among foreign entry
modes as consideringtheses factors, then providing the
guidelines when firms try to go global.The conceptual framework
of this study is constructed by literature review,and factors
can be classified into four categories: strategic variables,
environment variables, transaction-specific variables, and firm-
specificvariables. 217 multinational firms of informational
industry are our populationsused to response our survey
questionnaire. We try to use factor analysis, ANOVA,and multiple
discriminant analysis (MDA) as our research method. The results
areas follows:1.After factor analysis, we reduce the variables
to 13 factors, including global syn-ergies, global strategic
motivation, global operation demand, country risk, location
familiarity and liberty, market demand, market potential and
competitiveness, value of firm-specific know-how, tacit nature
of know-how, agency behavior of transaction, firm size,
multinational experience, and firm assets & risk preference.2.
After MANOVA and one-way ANOVA, we can find out that there are
significant differences among foreign entry modes as
considering overall factors. Besides, there are significant
differences among foreign entry modes in each factor, except
global strategic motivation, market demand, value of firm-
specific know-how, and agency behavior of transaction.3.
Moreover, MDA shows that "location familiarity and liberty" is
the factor with the most significant discriminating power, and
"value of firm-specific know-how" is the second. Neither "
agency behavior of transaction" nor "multinational experience"
are significantly discriminant.
