dc.description.abstractAbstract Land is one of the chief production factors without the characters of increase and circulation. For Taiwan where is a place with narrow surface and high population density, the future land demand becomes more and more pressing. Due to most of the railroad stations of Taiwan Railway situated in metropolitan essences, the existing old station house is likely the tumor of the metropolis. The ample station surface is to aim at the transportation passage only, it is pity that the land utility is unable to manifestTo eschew the low utilization of the limited land resulting in resource waste, it is imperative to further develop the land of the railroad stations of Taiwan Railway. Hence, under the conditions of going with the urban character and re-positioning the function and role of the railroad stations, how to select an appropriate development plan to maximize the station development expecting to generate the tangible financial interest, to spur the local intangible economy utility as well as to benefit the future diversified management will be of great help for the financial status of Taiwan Railway. This research takes Tainan station for instance which is to build up a decision model of the evaluation for the development plan of the railroad stations of Taiwan Railway. In terms of the approaches of the domestic & overseas land development, a look- back of the railroad station development projects and the consequences of the present analysis of Tainan surroundings and Tainan station operation situation, it further detects the subjects that is possibly to be faced with and draws up an appropriate development proposal. The establishment of the assessment level of the railroad station development plan, apart from the reference documents, is constructed the best assessment level structure by means of brain storming. To cope with the final goal of "the most appropriate development plan of Tainan railroad station", there are three objectives which are "cooperation", "impartiality", and "efficiency" respectively. Besides, there are nine assessment criteria under each objective. This research is to adopt the method of AHP to acquire the weight of each criteria and to use obscurity approach to blur the achievement value, then to gain the best proposal by means of SAW.zh_TW
