摘要: 在一切以顧客滿意為導向的時代,傳統製造業由過去單純以低成本為訴 求目標,演變到今日不但要低成本,在品質、速度、交期、服務等各方面 ,皆要符合顧客的需求企業家們已意識到如何利用資訊科技來提昇競爭力 。近年來,由於Internet與Intranet的興起,當人們尚在研究舊有系統如 何整合時,一個新世代的技術應用產物出現了,那便是Extranet。而在半 導體業更有所謂的Virtual Fab 的觀念出現,Virtual Fab 其實是 Extranet的另一個代名詞,在今日講求顧客滿意的時代,外部的客戶可隨 時透過Web Server,了解其訂單在製造廠商工廠中的生產狀況,而製造者 本身也必需掌握正確即時的資訊,才能達成準時交貨的目標。因為科技產 品的生命週期短,若無法準時交貨,喪失市場先機,企業將很難生存。面 對這些挑戰,企業除了整合內部的資訊系統,實施Intranet外,更要整合 上游的供應商及顧客的網路,即Extranet,以形成所謂供應鏈,以確保產 品從出生到死亡的整個流程,能以最低成本、最高品質、最佳效率完成。 Virtual Fab是一個觀念,目的在運用資訊科技,整合企業的各項資源, 能即時提供資訊給內部顧客(employee)與外部顧客(customer),並且整合 上下游供應商與客戶之資訊系統,形成所謂的供應鏈,加強彼此合作關係 ,達成雙贏的策略目標,並藉以提昇競爭力與顧客滿意度。本研究以個案 研究之方式,透過合泰公司之Virtual Fab資訊策略規劃實例,提供對建 置類似Virtual Fab系統架構有興趣之人士一個參考。 In an era led by total customer satisfaction, conventional manufacturing sector has been evolving from the low cost- oriented objective before to today where low cost no longer predominates the scenario, while aspects related to quality, lead time, delivery and services are increasingly becoming more important in satisfying the needs of all customers. Entrepreneurs are becoming aware of how to utilize information technology to enhance their competitiveness. Over the recent years, with prevailing Internet and Intranet when people are still trying to figure out how to integrate the existing old systems, an innovative technological application product have surfaced - the Extranet. As the so called Virtual Fab concept started to appear in the semi-conductor industry, the Virtual Fab is in fact synonymous to Extranet. In an era predominated by total customer satisfaction, outside customers may look up a web server randomly to check on the production status of its order with a particular manufacturer, while the manufacturer itself is required to possess accurate and instantaneous information in order to achieve on-time delivery. Owing to a short-lived life cycle on most technological products, failure to delivery on- time that led to losing foregrounds in business opportunities tend to jeopardize the survival of a business. To hedge against these challenges, businesses not only need to integrate their internal information systems by launching an intranet system, but also need to integrate a comprehensive network system linking their upstream and downstream suppliers, as well as a customer data base, which is the Extranet in order to form a so- called supply chain. It serves to ensure a product, spanning from its debut to ultimate expiration, can be produced with the lowest possible cost, yet in highest quality, and operating efficiency.
