Palm OS 委託式事件處理模式研究

Abstract

隨著資訊時代的進步，人們對日常生活中各種資訊管理的動作，已經由原本藉助桌上型電腦的運算轉變成依賴隨身攜帶的掌上型電腦。目前在掌上型電腦作業系統中，Palm OS佔有重要地位，同時也有數以千計的軟體支援。對Palm OS應用程式設計師而言，由於事件導向模式的應用程式設計，對於使用者介面日趨複雜的應用程式發展，是一項困難。 本論文針對Palm OS應用程式的事件導向處理模式產生的缺點，作研究與改進，利用委託式(delegation-based)事件處理觀念，實作一事件處理介面，讓Palm OS應用程式設計師藉由這個事件處理介面提供的函式，處理複雜的使用者介面所造成紊亂的事件處理流程，進而使程式設計者可以容易的發展與維護Palm OS應用程式。

With the growth of World Wide Web, people rely on handheld computers for managing all kinds of information everyday instead of using desktop computers. Currently, Palm OS is the key operation system of handheld device and have thousands of application programs supported. However, it’s somewhat difficult to develop application programs due to the programming model of Palm OS for application programs. In order to provide with a better solution, we purpose to use delegation-based event model for Palm OS programming. Using the concept of delegation-based event handle of Java language, we implement an event handle interface. The programmer of Palm OS application program can develop and maintain the application programs more easily based on the delegation-base event model.
