建構工作流程應用系統

Abstract

工作流程管理是一個快速演進中的技術，並且在各式各樣的企業裡有越來越多的商業應用。工作流程管理聯盟(WfMC)提出了一個工作流程參考模型和一組與工作流程相關的程式設計介面(API)來支援不同工作流程系統之間的相互溝通。但是它並沒有清楚的定義了建構工作流程的方法。 這篇論文提出了兩個建構工作流程應用系統的方法。第一個方法從文件的觀點開始建構系統，並且適用於辦公室自動化或是商業應用。第二個方法從流程的觀點開始建構系統，並且適用於任務導向的應用。這兩種方法都可以導出可使用的工作流程應用程式。

Workflow management is a fast evolving technology which is increasingly exploited for businesses in a variety of industries. Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) has proposed a workflow reference model and a set of workflow relevant APIs to support interoperation between different workflow systems. But it doesn’t clearly define the workflow process construction methodology. In this thesis, we propose two approaches to construct workflow processes running on workflow management systems. The first approach starts from the artifact aspect of the system and is suitable for office-automation or business applications. The second one starts from the process aspect of the system and is suitable for mission-oriented applications. Both of these approaches will derive to workable workflow applications.
