「機會」與「挑戰」是一體的兩面,常並行而存在;機會愈多,參與者愈多,競爭愈形激烈,需面臨的挑戰也更形複雜而艱辛。愈是複雜而高難度的挑戰,愈是需要具備全面思考且整體性的解決方策。本個案研究即企圖以TOC思考程序,為機會無限、挑戰層層的個案公司建構其企業整體解決方策。
LCD平面顯示器產業,在網際網路、無線寬頻通訊、後PC時代的來臨下,應用市場不斷擴大。更由於其輕薄、省電、無輻射、可攜帶以及環保等特性,在技術日趨成熟下,可望取代傳統的CRT(Cathode Ray Tube, 陰極射線管)市場,在高度資訊化時代裡扮演重要的人機界面角色,舉凡筆記型電腦、LCD監視器、多媒體資訊家電、影像通訊以及消費性電子產品等需求正急速成長,整個LCD產業的機會是無窮的。
LCD產業是資本與技術密集的產業,有極強的技術導向競爭,日韓技術成熟,日本在先進技術上領先,韓國則以優越的量產能力佔有全球市場,而台灣投入較晚,面對技術、量產能力、生產規模及低價競爭等層層挑戰,又必須在短時間內達成高成長,這個挑戰真是複雜而高難度。
個案公司與台灣LCD產業一樣擁有無限的機會與無比的挑戰,不同的只是經營策略和組織文化下呈現的結果差異,本個案研究即試圖就其經營現況做分析,運用TOC方法,建構其企業整體解決方策,並從企業的八大範疇,以TOC思維提出策略行動方案,做為個案公司達成其最高經營目標的重要參考。 Develop of the Enterprise-Wide Management Solutions with TOC Holistic Approach. student:Fu-Pang Huang Advisor : Rong-Kwei Li Master Program of Management for Executives National Chiao Tung University ABSTRACT The rapid growth in global LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)market has created a great opportunities for Taiwan’s TFT companies, but also challenges every companies to breakthrough the obstacles following after the opportunities. Because more opportunities, more competitors; more competitors, more challenges. 「Opportunity」and 「Challenge」are always existed simultaneously. Dr. Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints is a system improvement philosophy can be used for those companies who hope to completely success in organization reengineering and achieve their organization visions or business goals. This case study is going to apply the Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints for a Taiwan TFT-LCD company to solve the problem of improving overall company performance and achieve its business goal. This case study intends to develop the Enterprise-Wide Management Solutions to overcome the challenges for growing complexity through TOC holistic approach. From TOC Thinking Process,it will be started from the operation status analysis to get the company’s generic core conflict cloud and its direction of the solutions. then based on the direction of the solutions to develop Injection map and Enterprise-Wide Management Solutions(EWMS). A series of actions or projects derived from the enterprise-wide management solutions will be generated based on TOC thinking process, they will cover the 8 operation fields which TOC always talking about. we expect the case company may break through the remaining barriers easily and achieve business goals effectively by the suggested conclusions this study have given. |
