dc.description.abstract | 由於產品設計的擬人化趨勢,設計師在設計時,通常都會考慮如何與所面對的這個「朋友」,產生訊息的交換─此時已將產品人格化,想像其也具備著某種性格。而在設計產品時,設計師往往會因為概念的貧乏而苦惱。如果設計師能夠將產品想像為除了具有某種特質外,而此種特質概念的獲得,是從身邊的事物上找到靈感,或是利用同儕間的話題作引發。如此,所生成的概念不僅和人的特質一樣多樣化,構想的發展過程也更為容易而簡單。 星座在近幾年來已成為許多人茶餘飯後的話題,這個「話題」會如此地蔓延,相信其一定具有某種魅力,值得一探。在經過對星座的簡單研究後發現,其在分析歸納人的特質上,似乎有一定的原則可循。而這樣的原則如能利用於產品設計上,相信可以讓設計師的概念更為鮮活、多樣。 因此,本研究試圖利用星座中的特質描述,轉化為設計概念,運用於產品之上,主要分成三個部分來進行。 第一部份,為求得星座的客觀概念,以及了解應如何轉化產品與星座間的對應關係,先對3位具星座概念的設計研究所學生,針對150張坐椅設計圖卡的星座特質,進行訪談的工作。並將訪談結果整理歸納,列表轉化為產品設計概念。 經由訪談,了解如何從星座特質轉化為產品設計概念後。第二部分即利用這些整理歸納的部分,結合由文獻中所收集而來的星座特質與星座神話等概念,廣泛地應用於各星座的燈具設計上。每件產品主要以「將星座代表物的形象直接融入設計」、「將星座的特質轉化融入設計中」、「由各星座的神話、歷史等淵源進行發想」等三個層面,單獨或選擇其中2~3個層面結合後,提出3~5件的燈具設計提案。最後,各星座的提案間,再擇一進行更進一步的發展,而得到12件星座的主要設計概念。 第三部份,經由對此12件產品其實作上的再評估,選出10件產品製成實際模型,於交通大學藝文空間展出。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | With the trend of personified product design, more and more designers will consider how to let their designs to interact with people as their “friends”. As soon as a product is personified, it is imagined to have some personality like a person. On the other hand, when designing products, designers always suffer from the paucity of ideas. At this moment, however, if designers can imagine the product to have some personalities inspired from the things of daily life, they’ll create various ideas with the various personalities. Topics of astrology have been chattered form time to time. They must have some fascination to become the popular topics. Through the simple study of astrology, we find that the rules of astrology to identify various personalities of people may be applied in product design. By adopting these rules in product design, we will bestow products with various ‘personalities’ and make ideas more unique and manifold. Therefore, this study tried to adapt the characteristic of each constellation specified in astrology to develop ideas of product design. There are three phases in this study. In the first phase, for understanding how the astrology corresponds to product design, we interviewed three design graduate students with 150 chair designs. They were asked to match chairs with identical characteristics to each constellation and to explain the factors used in each matching. The result then was summarized into design guidelines. In phase two, we applied the guidelines derived from the last phase as well as some peculiarity and legend of each constellation from literature review to light designs. In every light design for a specific constellation, we conceived 2-3 ideas from the image, the representing personality, the legend, and the history of the constellation. We then screened out one idea from each constellation light design to develop it comprehensively. Consequently, there were12 major ideas were fully developed. In the third phase, through a further evaluation on producibility, we selected 10 ideas from the last phase to make them into prototypes. These prototypes then were exhibited tin the NCTU arts gallery for collecting response from the audience. | en_US |
