Medical quality has been promoted to patient satisfaction in the whole medical process rather than treatment outcome. All of the hospitals must seek for outstanding medical quality in the patient safety age. This research proposes a system architecture that is based on the RFID for medicine information system and helps hospitals to create more efficient and safe medicine environment. This research proposes a RFID medicine information system that integrates five theories including RFID technology, emergency room process, operation room process, clinical pathway, and unit dose. The system architecture is based on the most important medicine and healthcare process. This research applies some RFID features to medicine information system. These features include identification, tracking, distance communication, active or passive data communication, etc. The result of this research integrates RFID system and medical processes tightly. RFID medicine information system can be applied to improve medical quality by hospital. The proposed system architecture can be also applied to manufacturing for warehouse management and imitation. |
