Abstract: 半導體產業的發展,已由初始的大型整合元件廠(IDM)逐步發展至如今之「IC設計」、「晶圓製造」、「IC封裝」、「IC測試」等各子產業分立,上、下游公司各司其職;可說是「產業專業分工模式」的最佳寫照。驗證測試服務業亦受惠於此產業鏈的形成而蓬勃發展。驗證服務業在此產業分工中扮演著IC設計中之產品驗證的角色。 本研究希望藉由個案A公司的競爭力分析,探討「驗證測試服務業」在面臨新市場的契機與高科技產業生命週期變動快速的環境下,將如何善用企業核心能力、擬定競爭發展策略,為企業製造更大的價值。 本研究採用SWOT分析手法,及透過個案研究及專家訪談方式,分析A公司之優勢及劣勢,與其所處環境的機會與威脅,並整理歸納出結論,作為A公司競爭策略之量化模式,及提共個案公司決策者擬定方向之參考指標。
Semiconductor industry has been developing from IDM and now is divided into IC design, wafer manufacturing, IC packaging, IC testing sub-industries. Each industry plays an important and professional role in this business stream. The verification services industry has been growing with great prosperity under this professional business chain. The verification services industry focus on product verification for IC design industry. The purpose of this research is to create competitive development strategy to generate greater value for verification service industry through investigating company A, which is facing new market opportunity and challenges under rapidly changing high technology environment. This study is to analyze the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of company A by adopting SWOT analysis, case study and interview professionals. The result of this research will be applied to developing quantified model for company A’s competitive strategy and to be a reference indicator for company A decision making as well.
