一個基於Joomla!之中小企業網站建置-以M公司為案例

Abstract

在網際網路盛行的世代,企業網站的建置已經成為企業生存不可或缺的一環,過 去企業建置網站可能是從無到有的開發,對中小企業而言此種作法不僅費時且所需投 入的成本較高。網站上線後也必須具備專業技術才能進行後續日常的維護與新功能的 擴充。這對中小企業的資訊技術與資源將是一個難題。本論文經由文獻探討,規劃出 一套利用開放原始碼內容管理系統 Joomla!建置企業網站的方法,一共區分為整體需求 分析、模板規劃、功能擴充、內容建置、上線前準備、上線後維護等六個階段。對於 資訊專業能力較不足的中小企業,依照此方法可低本且快速打造一個易維護、易擴充 的企業網站。透過案例公司網站實作結果顯示,建置成本節省約 85%、建置期間縮短 約 50%,後續維護人力需求減少約 50%,表現均優於原先傳統方式開發的網站。本研 究的結果可以提供中小企業資訊部門做為未來自行建置或更新現有企業網站之參考。

In this age of the rise of internet, the corporate website construction has become a critical key to enterprises. In the past, building corporate website may start from scratch. To most SMEs, that causes not only time-consuming but also brings high cost. The on-line website maintenance requires being followed up by professionals with technology developing capabilities. It would be a challenge to SMEs’ information resources and ability. This study designs the method for the development of a corporate website using open source content management system Joomla! through literature review. This method includes: overall demand analysis, templates planning, function expansion, content building, on-line preparation, on- line maintenance of the six stages. Especially for the lack of IT professionals SMEs to build up the website system in efficient way. In a case study of company M, we have the comparison of the original site developed by traditional way and new website built by Joomla!. The results show that about 85% of the build cost savings, time shortened by about 50%, reducing about 50% ongoing maintenance manpower. The results are better than the traditional way. The results of this study may provide more information as reference to those SMEs which has IT staffs shortage issue to build all new website or for those tend to replace existing website in the future.
