摘要: | 本論文包含兩個部份:一者為管絃樂作品「話水.畫水」,一者為此作品創作理念與輔助性論文。透過對水的視覺經驗,引發了我一連串的理性思維,我體驗到了許多「力的圖示」—運動的圖畫,於是我以「運動」作為本論文的焦點,並從物理、心理、美學、哲學、音樂等方面來開展「運動」的意義。
「運動」廣義言之即是改變,在本文中以物理上對運動的解釋開始,然後闡述人們如何可以經歷運動,進而探討心理的運動及心理張力。在視覺藝術與音樂中,如何製造運動,和運動事件所造成的張力為何?換句話說,從水的運動所帶給我的啟示,如何在音樂中展現?……
「話水.畫水」共分為五個樂章,是三管編制的管絃樂作品。演奏時可以任選一個樂章開始,而開始的樂章也同時成為結束的樂章。五個樂章的編排方式取自於一個「圓」的想法,它可以順時鐘方向的組合方式,也可以是逆時鐘方向的組合方式,因此演奏時除了選擇開始的點,也要選擇進行的方向。 This thesis consists of two parts, one is the musical composition "Aqua-Kaleidoscopes", and the other is the document expounding the ideas of this work. It occurs to me that , through my visual experiences of water, many "pictures of power" --the movements that make water produce many magic pictures -- come to the fore of my mind. After pondering on them, I take "movement" as a focus of this thesis, and I also explain the meaning of "movement" from the angles of physic, psychology, aesthetics, philosophy, and music. "Movement", broadly speaking, is changing. This thesis begins from defining motion in physic, then proceeds to expore how people can experience movement, and then talks about the movement and tension of mentation, the forming of movement, and the reasoning behind the tension made by movement in visual art and music. In other words, how to express the enlightenment brought me by the movement of water? There are five movements in Aqua-Kaleidoscopes which is scored for an orchestra with triple winds. When performed, any movement can be chosen to begin, the work, begining movement should also be the final one. This arrangement is derived form the idea of a "circle", which can be organized clockwise or counterclockwise. For this reason, you should choose where to begin, and which way to proceed. |
