摘要: | DRAM模組係將可儲存並處理巨量資料的DRAM動態記憶體積體電路顆粒,以表面黏著(SMT)生產製程把DRAM顆粒鑲嵌於底端具有金手指之電路基板上,經由金手指接觸電腦連接插槽端子,將DRAM儲存資料傳送到電腦處理器,達成提升電腦處理速度及擴充記憶體容量之目的。
台灣DRAM模組產業不但扮演台灣個人電腦產業的重要關鍵零組件供應者之一,也具台灣半導體DRAM產業最重要的銷售產品之一。DRAM模組價格變化隨著DRAM供應及市場銷售需求之變化, 價格瞬息萬變,訂單交期要求最大彈性及最快速度交貨,使得DRAM模組產業供應鏈要有最佳的營運效率、最低的成本、最快的速度,才能在經濟不景氣及險惡競爭下存活下來。
本文以產業脈動趨勢分析,供應鏈管理運用原則,最佳化利潤模式等理論,對台灣DRAM模組產業供應鏈進行理論與實務探討與分析。並藉由探討之結論,提供給DRAM模組產業供應鏈未來發展之策略規劃方向及台灣快閃記憶卡產業供應鏈規劃的啟示與建議。 DRAM module mounts DRAM chips on print circuit board (PCB) by adopting surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing practices. Through gold fingers on PCB connected with data buses and controller buses of a computer processor, DRAM module can access enormous amount of data to a computer processor, thus increasing an upgraded computer’s processing speed and memory expansion. As the major component supplied by Taiwan’s PC industry, the DRAM module is alos the leading selling product of Taiwan’s DRAM industry. Whereas DRAM module is a globalized commodity product, DRAM pricing is substrantially influcenced by the dynamic and instant nature of supply and demand. Additionally, customers always demand the most flexibile and lowest price, as well as fastest delivery time. Therefore, the supply chain operaton must be efficient and capable of satisfying customer demand efficiently. A company can survive and thrive only when the supply chain management becomes a company’s core competence and strategy. This investigation examines Taiwan’s DRAM module industry with the theories of clockspeed industry structure analysis, seven principles of supply chain management, and profit patterns. Based on our results, future strategy planning for supply chain management of Taiwan’s DRAM module is discussed. Recommendations are also made for supply chain management strategy planning of Taiwan’s flash memory card industry. |
