摘要: 隨著ICT技術的發展,電信業的競爭越來越激烈,傳統的電信語音收入已無法滿足成長的需求;智慧型手機的普及提高了ARPU值,但大量的使用者也使得網路頻寬使用的吃緊; OTT業者的大量的使用網路頻寬來提供服務賺錢,卻只需付出少許的線路租用費;4G開台帶來新的機會與競爭者,如何透過創新的服務來提高自我的競爭力?這些都是電信業者面臨到問題。本論文藉由研究電信技術的發展史,透過技術發展的過程與未來趨勢來研究電信業成長的方式,並選擇以中華電信為個案研究的對象,來找出適合未來電信業發展之策略, 結論為透過開放式創新的方法來增加競爭力,並以價值創新的方式提供讓使用者有感的創新服務。
The competition environment of telecommunication industry is getting more and more sharply with the fast development of ICT technology. The traditional vocal revenue is unable to meet the demand of growth for telecom service operators. High penetration of smart phones increases the ARPU, but a large number of users also makes network lag . OTT companies use huge number of network bandwidth to provide services and make huge money, but just pay a few line rental charges. 4G services bring new opportunities and competitors. How telecom service operators can do to improve competitiveness by innovative services? This paper try to find out the growth strategies in the future by studying the history of telecommunications technology, process of technological development, future growth trends and choosing Chunghwa Telecom company as a case study.The conclusion is that telecom service operators should use open innovation to improve the competitiveness and to provide servies that touch users.
