摘要: | 半導體產業自90年代開始進行垂直的分工模式,由晶圓代工帶領無晶圓廠的IC設計公司以及提供後段封裝及測試的廠商串聯起強大的半導體供應鏈,其中屬於知識密集的驗證分析產業也在同時期開始提供半導體供應鏈的技術服務。
半導體驗證分析產業特性與傳統的電子代工或自有產品公司有相當程度的差異,此產業是由提供技術性的工程服務為核心價值,由於技術型服務的高毛利使的跨入此產業的公司數量在近年逐漸增加,各自具備不同技術專長及資源基礎的實驗室由於技術發展方向轉趨一致因此在對同一族群的顧客服務範圍上逐漸重疊,因此近年開始此產業內的競爭態勢轉趨激烈。
鑒於半導體驗證分析產業的相關研究缺乏,本論文研製之目的在於以個案公司作為分析標的,以其所具備的特殊資源基礎並以產業特性的顧客價值為依歸來進行個案公司的SWOT優劣勢及機會、威脅分析,找出個案公司在面對嚴峻的經營情況下如何利用原有的優勢及既有資源來擬訂其競爭策略及經營模式,並歸納出此產業可發展的競爭來源,以期作為此產業的發展參考。 Since the 1990s, the semiconductor industry begin the vertical specialization development model, led by wafer foundry, the fabless IC design and backend assembly and testing house constructed a strong semiconductor supply chain, during the same period, the semiconductor verification company which belongs to knowledge-intensive industries began to provide the technical service for semiconductor supply chain. The characteristics of the semiconductor verification industry have a lots of difference from traditional ODM or OEM industrial, the core value of this industry is providing technical engineering services, due to the technical service was high margin, therefore, some companies enter this new industry in recent years, all of these laboratories have different technical expertise and resource base, but the technology development direction were consistency, thus the service scope and service item have overlapped, the competition has become more intense in this industrial. In view of the semiconductor verification industry's research was lacked, the purpose of this paper is use a case company for analysis subject, and base on this company their special resource base and they service core - customer value to carry out the SWOT analysis, than figure out how this company use its advantage and existing resources to formulate its competitive strategy and business model, and summed up the sources of competition for this industry reference. |
