摘要: | 由星際物質的旋轉速度可推知螺旋星系中的質量分布,和由星系中來自所有發光物質發出的光度所推算的質量有很大的落差。利用早期質量密度與旋轉速度的可解析模型,適度修正速度的邊界條件參考文獻發展出的新模型,此模型將質量密度公式轉換成一種新的形式,較易於進行電腦程式的運算與解析上的分析。文中我們利用解析模型擬合星系的旋轉曲線,再由質量密度公式推算螺旋星系的質量密度μ,接著從每個星系的視星等數據中計算出光度。推導所有星系的質-光比(M/L),質-光比可以告訴我們星系中可見物質與暗物質的比例。以這些結果分析、探討星系旋轉曲線與質量分布的可能關聯,藉此探索螺旋星系中可見物質與暗物質的相關特性。 The mass distribution μ derived from the rotation curve is much larger than the mass distribution μL derived from the luminosity profile under the assumption of constant mass-to-light ratio (M/L). Analytic models of rotation curve are used to simulate a variety of spiral galaxies. As a result, we can obtain analytic result for the mass distribution function and study the pattern of the mass distribution functions of these spirals. The mass-to-light ratio is hence derived as a function of the radial distance r. These results may reveal the correlation between the nature of the dark matter and the luminous structure of the spirals. |
