dc.description.abstract	Focused on George Crumb's Solo Sonata for Violoncello, this paper provides a detailed analysis of Crumb's use of sound materials in this pieces, including the presentations of minor-third motives and octatonic scale, their developments,transformations, and interweaving sound effects.
